What is
in OrganaGrow®?
Nutrients- Nitrogen, mostly in organic form, phosphorus and
trace amounts of potassium. OrganaGrow®
also contains micro-nutrients such as iron, sulfur, calcium,
magnesium, and trace elements ( i.e., copper and zinc).
Enviroventures uses a process to enhance the product using
lime, this provides the added value of soil PH adjustment
What farmers like most about OrganaGrow®
is the organic material contained in the product. Nutrients
are released slowly, moisture holding capacity of the soil
is increased, and the tilth and friability are improved. This
is a distinct advantage over the use of Nutrea, which will
run off or leach through the soil with a minimal amount of
precipitation due to the lack of organic material in Nutrea.
EnviroVentures uses independent laboratories to conduct chemical
and biological testing 4 times a year to further ensure the
reliability of our process and product. We also conduct monthly
fecal tests and daily pH tests, ensuring that we are constantly
in compliance with regulatory perimeters. A complete laboratory
report is available upon request.
What do I have to do to receive OrganaGrow®?
Farmers who own more than 80 acres, have a suitable location,
and use soil conservation planning may be eligible. Usually,
EnviroVentures will deliverOrganaGrow®
with information on recommended application rates. EnviroVentures
has recently purchased new land application equipment, and
will apply OrganaGrow®
at the proper application rates to the farmers fields. EnviroVentures'
Biosolids meet Class A, High Quality Standards. Therefore,
it may be distributed much like other agricultural products.
Plan for OrganaGrow® Delivery
EnviroVentures will:
- Determine site suitability
- Develop a nutrient management plan
- Arrange with farmer or manager for delivery.
- Ensure application rate conforms to nutrient management
plan.
The Farmer Will:
- Agree not to over apply OrganaGrow®.
- Follow the soil conservation plan.
- Monitor Crop Yields
What is the Advantage of Using OrganaGrow®?
Like other organic fertilizer, nitrogen and other nutrients
are released gradually as OrganaGrow®
is slowly decomposed by soil bacteria. This pattern closely
follows the crops need for nutrients throughout the growing
season. Inorganic Fertilizers are only available to plants
before they are dissolved by rain and leached into the subsoil.
EnviroVentures will recommend the application rate appropriate
for your crops. The amount needed is calculated based on type
of crop, expected yields and concentration of plant available
nitrogen. We have developed and utilize software that computes
current nutrient needs for your anticipated crop yield, which
includes the residual nutrients from past fertilizers used
together with historical crop yields. This further ensures
that our product continually complies with all regulatory
requirements, nutrient management plans and best farming practices.
